Get to know me

I’m a fashion and beauty content creator with a degree in journalism. Growing up, I always dreamed of becoming a journalist at a big TV network. I was lucky enough to work in the industry for several years, covering local events and managing social media content for NBC, CBS, and ABC affiliate stations in California. During the onset of COVID-19, I had opportunity to cover healthcare stories during COVID, which really opened my eyes and inspired me to want to do more in that space.

Right now, I’m not working in the industry because I’ve chosen to focus on growing my family—I’m a mom now, and that’s been my biggest priority. But I’m also back in school, working toward a master’s degree in healthcare because I want to combine my love for storytelling and journalism with a focus on the healthcare industry. I’ve even started sharing my journey back to school on my YouTube channel, which has been a fun way to connect with others who are juggling similar paths.

Fashion has always been a big passion of mine, too. In college, I took several fashion courses and even interned at Seventeen magazine. One of the highlights of that internship was covering New York Fashion Week on behalf of the fashion editors—I’ll never forget meeting icons like Paris Hilton and Zendaya. It was such an inspiring experience and made me fall even more in love with the industry.

Outside of journalism, I’ve built long-term partnerships with brands like Aerie, Express, and Victoria’s Secret Pink, creating content that feels real and relatable. Being bilingual has been such a blessing in this space—it’s allowed me to create content in Spanish, too, which is so important to me because it helps amplify conversations that matter to my community.

My journey as a content creator started from a really personal place. Growing up, I never saw women with tan skin like mine in makeup tutorials or beauty campaigns. I remember the frustration of not knowing how products like blush or foundation would look on me and feeling left out. That experience lit a fire in me—I wanted to create content that celebrated diversity and helped women like me feel seen and represented.

For me, beauty is about so much more than just products. It’s self-expression, confidence, and empowerment. As a Latina in my 30s, I know how important it is to feel represented, especially in an industry that hasn’t always made space for us. Makeup and skincare have always been my happy place, something my mom instilled in me at a young age. She taught me the importance of self-care, and it’s something I still carry with me today.

Creating content has become my way to decompress and express myself after a busy day—whether I’m navigating life as a new mom or balancing my 9-to-5. I love testing out new products, sharing my honest experiences, and helping other women find what works for them. My hope is that through my videos, I can inspire others to prioritize themselves, celebrate their unique beauty, and feel confident in their own skin. At the end of the day, it’s all about connection, and that’s what keeps me passionate about what I do.
