NASA Aerospace Scholar, encouraging women to find careers in STEM, founder of SWISE Bianca Vasquez

In today’s episode, I am speaking to Bianca Vasquez, a mechanical engineering student.

She founded the Society of Women in Space Exploration which is an organization that promotes women and diversity in the space industry.

The organization promotes and encourages more women, diversity, and inclusion in multidisciplinary fields of space exploration. SWISE empowers students to become a leader in their school, creating a space for women & allies who share a common interest- space and diversity in STEM.

Follow SWISE on Twitter.

Bianca has landed internships at Virgin Orbit and Lockheed Martin to name a few. She is paving the way for many women in science.
